In 2013, in order to diversify the cereal farm, in consultation with their sons, Étienne Hautier and Annie Demarbais decided to give a new impulse to their farm and to plant on part of their land, just over 22000 feet of vines "inter-specific" or "PIWI" varieties. These vines are treated as naturally as possible. In addition, since spring 2016, they have decided to intensify and revitalize the micro-organic life of the vineyard. This type of crop aims to promote exchanges between the plant and its environment, land and air. This is the principle of biodynamics.
