A key figure of the local expertise of the Centre region and the small princely town of Le Roeulx, St.Feuillien brewery can witness of a long history of nearly 150 years. It is in 1873 that the family Friart begins manufacturing the famous Grisette and St. Feuillien beers, from the name of this Irish monk assassinated in 655 while crossing a forest located at the site of the current town. In his memory, a chapel and a monastery, settled there. The monks, brew masters, were therefore responsible for the brewing tradition in the area.
Today, Friart family continues his work with passion and dynamism, exploring new ways and regularly offering new beers to enthusiasts around the world !
